This is actually happening.

You've heard of the man. The eternal Packer, retired, unretired and somehow traded from Green Bay to New York.
In new encyclopedias, under "Favre, Brett": Jets quarterback.
The sports icon is the protagonist of a new Jets fantasy in which Brett Favre coaches, throws, catches, blocks, carries, scores and kicks the point after. He wins.
Three-time MVP Brett Favre, 38 years young, hunched above the Jets offensive line against Tom Brady and the Patriots twice this season, contending in the AFC East.
Off the field, envision Brett Favre the New Yorker, eating a grandma slice for lunch at training camp in Hempstead. Sipping an egg cream in the East Village. Driving at the speed limit through the Holland Tunnel.
This is actually happening. Shout the man's name on the boulevards of all five boroughs. He has come and he will play.
New York autograph collectors and New Jersey tax collectors will be coming after Brett Favre. The Empire State Building is envious of the stature of Brett Favre.
The question is not, Will the Jets go far?
It is: Will the Bretts go Favre?
