W&M freshman selected to compete on Jeopardy
William & Mary freshman Zach McDonnell is one of 15 undergraduates who has been selected to compete in the 24th College Championships on Jeopardy. He will be competing for the $100,000 grand prize and a spot in the Tournament of Champions.
McDonnell, who reigns from Harrisonburg, Va., was among 12,000 students competing for a spot on the show. William & Mary will be represented along with Cal Poly, Harvard and Eastern Illinois University.
The competition is set to air Feb. 1-14.
