•Basketball WNBA president Donna Orender is expected to announce findings today of the league's review of Tuesday night's melee between the Detroit Shock and Los Angeles Sparks, a league source told Newsday. Two L.A. players and one player and an assistant from Detroit were ejected.
•TennisTop-ranked Roger Federer lost to France's Gilles Simon, 2-6, 7-5, 6-4, in the second round of the ATP Rogers Cup in Toronto.
