Tesla's insane new Roadster hits 60 mph in under 2 seconds

Tesla unveiled its new Roadster, which hits 60 mph in 1.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of over 250 miles, on November 16, 2017 in its Hawthorne, Calif., design studio. If the specs hold true, the AWD electric car would be the quickest production vehicle in the world. It also has a range of 620 miles, and starts at $200,000. A reservation to order the car is $50,000. The original Roadster, made from 2008 to 2012, had a 244-mile range and hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
