Colonial Williamsburg to offer discount passes for certain pass holders, seniors

Colonial Williamsburg will offer a pair of discounts to select pass holders and people who are at least 50 years old, according to a Colonial Williamsburg news release. 

Those who have annual, collegiate or Good Neighbor passes can buy single-day adult and youth tickets for up to 10 people at 50 percent off through Colonial Williamsburg's Bring a Friend offer, which extends through Aug. 31, the release states. 

Those 50 and older can visit Colonial Williamsburg an unlimited number of times through the end of the year for the price of a single-day ticket through the Pay-for-a-Day offer available through Oct. 31, according to the release. 

The tickets normally retail for $40.99 for adults and $20.49 for children ages 6-12 and provide admission to more than 40 historic sites, trades, homes, gardens and the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg, the release states.  

For the Bring a Friend offer, pass members, along with friends and family, must be present and show a current adult, annual, collegiate or Good Neighbor Pass, according to the release. People may not purchase a member pass and discounted friend and family tickets on the same day, the release states. 

Those eligible for the pay for a day offer must present a valid ID to verify their age, and the special discounts are avaiable at the following onsite ticket locations: 

  • the Colonial Williamsburg Regional Visitor Center
  • the Lumber House Ticket Office
  • William Pitt Store
  • Merchants Square Ticket Office.These offers cannot be combined with any other discounts.

The offers cannot be combined with any other discounts, according to the release.
