NWS: Hazardous weather outlook in place on Peninsula, possible thunderstorms

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook Friday afternoon for possible scattered to isolated thunderstorms Friday night.

Possible thunderstorms on the Peninsula are not expected to be severe. There is an estimated 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., then isolated showers.

There will be light wind Friday night around 13 mph, but gusts could get as high as 26 mph, according to the NWS.
