Hampton gets ready for homecoming

Homecoming court presentations, upcoming annual Talbot Tailgate and homecoming games make up for a grand weekend for those at the Hampton Township School District. The tailgate kicks off on Oct. 13 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the middle school, where food and games will be enjoyed along with plenty of Hampton spirit. It will get the crowd ready for the home game against West Allegheny High School at 7 p.m.

The Athletic Director for the district, Bill Cardone, discussed the football team and said that he feels it is a good game. According to him, the team is ready for the challenge but expects it to be a tough battle as West Allegheny has been one of the top challengers in the WPIAL. Talking about the crowd, he had fate in the crowds turning up to support the home team in big numbers.

The game will be held at the middle school. Convenience and comfort have always been important; may it be Auckland meeting rooms or transport from the high school to middle school. So, the district website noted that a free shuttle bus would be arranged from the high school to alleviate traffic and overcome limited parking area.
