Alfie is a big boy who doesn't know it. That's what one of the volunteers at Animal Aid told me, because he is full of wiggles and kisses but is so gentle when he's saying hello. Alfie is only about year old, so he is really still a puppy and has a lot of energy. The thing that struck me most about Alfie were his eyes, because they were kind and such a beautiful color with a bit of yellow and green mixed in them. My mom said they looked like the eyes of a cat. He is a brown and white mix and his tail is always wagging. He probably needs a family that has a yard and is able to run around with him and also take the time to get him a little training. I saw a quote next to Alfie's picture in Animal Aid's book of animals: "I am joy in a wooly coat, come to dance into your life, to make you laugh." It's from a lady named Ann Landers, and it seems like a perfect description of what Alfie could do!
