When I first saw Beckley and Shadow, I thought maybe they were sisters. Then I found out they are best friends who have been together their whole lives. That's why they don't want to be apart now. They are 10 years old and have always taken care of each other. Shadow is more bossy and tells Beckley where to go, but Beckley doesn't seem to mind. They are both really quiet and calm and sweet. I think they would just want to curl up together with you at your house and get attention. Beckley is a Dachshund mix and Shadow is a terrier mix. They're both mostly black and weigh about 20 pounds. They came to the SPCA because their owner had health problems and couldn't take care of them anymore. Hopefully there is somebody who would love both of them and let them keep being best friends.
