The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public hearing Thursday for the third segment of its Interstate 64 widening project, officials said.
The hearing will present plans for improvements on the interstate in York County, VDOT spokeswoman Brittany McBride Nichols said in a news release.
The meeting will give residents an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input, according to the release.
It will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation, she said.
The meeting is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bruton High School, 185 E. Rochambeau Drive in Williamsburg.
Attendees can provide oral and written comments at the hearing or submit them by May 28, the release states.
Comments can be submitted to Janet Hedrick, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 1992 South Military Highway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320. Comments can also be emailed to Janet.Hedrick@VDOT.Virginia.gov. Please reference “I-64 Segment III Capacity Improvements Comment” in the subject line.
