You're paying more for hotels, but you're happy — especially with these
Your hotel room may be costing you more, but you're more content with your lodgings than you've been in a while. That's according to a J.D. Power report, released Wednesday, on the satisfaction of hotel guests in North America. Paying more but happier--does that make sense? It does, says Rick Garlick, global practice leader for the travel and hospitality sector for J.D. Power of Westlake Village. The study also revealed the leader in each category and included one new entrant and several repeat winners. The information for the survey was gathered from July 2012 until May from more than 68,000 guests.
