Santa Fe: La Fonda's new look stays true to original Southwest style
Visitors to Santa Fe, N.M., invariably wind up in the lobby of the landmark La Fonda on the Plaza, a traveler favorite. They enter to see the remarkable Old West murals and artwork on the walls or to rest tired feet in one of the Southwest-style chairs. Now the the 91-year-old hotel has a bit of a new look and a new pedigree.
