The creators of "Phineas & Ferb," the popular Disney Channel animated series, were at Disney's Hollywood Studios Wednesday, watching their creations interact with guests and meeting with cast members that are incorporating their characters into animation classes at the theme park.
Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh gave tips to Disney World artists for drawing Agent P, a fedora-wearing platypus, including how squinty his eyes should be ("We don't want to make him angry," Povenmire says) and the perils of eyebrows ("It became an animation nightmare," Marsh says).
Agent P also will be a major player in an upcoming attraction at Epcot. Agent P's World Showcase Adventure is set to debut this summer, replacing the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure.
"They have been really good through all of this stuff about including us really early on in the process, which has been really flattering," Marsh says.
"The Imagineering guys who are in charge of that, they all have kids and they all watch the show, so we knew it was in good hands because they all love the show," Povenmire says.
