Benschoten & Carter is one of the most respected and enduring independent insurance agencies in Williamsburg. The owners, Lee Carter and Cathy Carter Huff, were both raised in Williamsburg and each has more than 20 years of insurance experience. Their fathers, James (Jim) D. Carter III & John (Jack) R. Carter, had been with the agency since the 1960s.
