SKIN CARE: The Skin Clinic, Inc.

Ruth K. Robinson’s passion for aesthetics began when she had her own skin care needs to be met, and was intrigued with the results she experienced.  Shortly after, she changed her career path completely and became a graduate of the Frantz Kosmetik Schule in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  After gaining experience as Lead Esthetician in health clinics in Europe, she re-located to the States and continued pursuing her new-found calling.  She quickly recognized a lack of aesthetic training in the area and helped establish the first Skin Care School on the peninsula.  Later, in partnership with Dr.David Teasley, a noted Williamsburg plastic surgeon, Ruth built The Skin Institute on McLaws Circle and operated it for six years.
