Dining and shopping highlights
Plan for a stop at Grogan’s pub in Ireland for Grogan’s beef and
vegetable stew served in Irish soda bread. Look Ma, I ate the bowl!
Or try the authentic Italian dishes like cannelloni at the Italian Pavilion in
Italy. In New France, indulge in brisket and ribs at Three Rivers Smokehouse.
Das Festhaus in Germany offers German dining and other specialties -- probably the
widest variety of food in the park at one restaurant.
Looking for beer? The Festhaus in Germany may be your first stop. Also Grogan’s in
Ireland and the Italian Pavilion in Italy. There are beer carts throughout the park.
Did you get soaked on the Roman Rapids water ride? Well, this is a family park, so forget about entering a wet t-shirt contest. Try Oktoberfest Gifts in Germany for the best variety of men’s, women’s and children’s T-shirts, shorts and sweatshirts. Nearby, the German gift shop sells cuckoo clocks, figurines and steins.
