Dining and shopping highlights
Historic Jamestowne has no dining
facilities, but there is a picnic area. Jamestown Settlements new
caf¿erves pizza, deli sandwiches, wraps, hamburgers, corn dogs, salads, Brunswick stew,
and a real treat -- Edys soft-serve ice cream.
Historic Jamestowne's Visitor Center gift shop
has a large selection of history-related books and maps, Colonial-themed toys, tri-corner
hats, pottery and trinkets. At the Glass House you can watch glass-blowing and purchase
the objects made there. Its located close to the site of the original glass
house, near the entrance to the park.
The 4,000-square-foot gift shop at Jamestown Settlement
sells everything from rabbit pelts to candles, products from the Williamsburg Winery, lots
of t-shirts, Colonial trinkets and books.
The gallery shop in the museum is much smaller, but has some nice
reproduction collectibles: Globes, ship models, replica weapons and glassware.
Umbrellas and ponchos are for sale if it rains during your visit.
