Perhaps this week's Parisian adventure without the little one had the new mom feeling extra gushy?
"I missed waking up with my little [angel]," the 32-year-old wrote, using a little angel emoji, posting a picture of her daughter swaddled up in white, with Kanye West.
The last (and only other time) fans saw North's face was in August, when West appeared on "Kris," Kardashian's momager's summer talk show, and shared the first photo of their baby girl. The rapper said he did it so that paparazzi would stop hounding them (and perhaps to give Kris Jenner's final show a ratings boost).
Following the June 15 birth of her daughter, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" starlet had kept a relatively low profile considering she had been out and about (and photographed) nearly every day before North was born.
However, this week, her social-media accounts were abuzz as she finally stepped out for Paris Fashion Week with her rapper-beau. The couple reportedly left their 3-month-old back home as they flew to the City of Light for business and pleasure and collected tons of swag for their baby girl.
On Thursday, Kardashian shared one of the motivators behind her trip: her paternal cousin Cici, who has been battling cancer for 17 years.
"My cousin @cicibussey has had a lifelong dream of attending a couture fashion show! Thank u Kanye & Givenchy for making her dream come true!!! #bucketlist," she wrote on Instagram, posing for a photo with her cousin.
Kardashian later elaborated in a blog post.
"We flew to San Francisco to pick up Cici!" she wrote. "Its been Cici's wish to go to a couture fashion show and Kanye thought bringing Cici to the Givenchy show would make all of her dreams come true!
"Cici, my cousin has always been obsessed with fashion and it makes me so happy I was able to make this happen for her! We picked her up in San Francisco where she was finishing up treatment for her cancer."
Her cousin, who chronicled the trip on her Instagram account, is in need of a bone marrow donor, so Kardashian also urged her fans to see if they're a match.
"We flew to Paris and I know Cici couldn't even begin to imagine what Paris fashion week was like! Then we landed in Paris and went straight to a Givenchy fitting! How exciting!!! We met Carine Roitfeld who styled me for the show!!! She is my style icon!"
Roitfeld, the former French Vogue editor, and Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, a good friend of West's, styled the reality TV star in two memorable looks that had her capturing headlines in the same manner she did pre-North.
"I wish I had time to shower and change," she added, "but we were on such a right [sic] schedule because right after the fitting we took a train to London for a top secret shoot with Nick Knight!!!! No sleep this trip! But soooo worth it! Xo"
Now that she's back in L.A., Kardashian is also in front of a whole different camera lens. "Super Size Me" filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, who recently shot the One Direction documentary "This Is Us," will be following the frequently photographed star for a special segment on "fame and celebrity," according to Movies Now. Spurlock was seen in several pap photos following Kardashian at LAX this week and will reportedly be using his experience as part of his CNN program, "Inside Man."
