Aspiring singers have an opportunity to learn from Broadway performer Tiffany Haas at a master class presented Sunday by the Williamsburg Symphonia.

Haas has appeared as Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway hit “Wicked,” and before that, she starred as Glinda in the national tour of “Wicked.” A native of Yorktown, Haas studied opera and musical theater at University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music. She also competed in the Miss America pageant, after winning Miss Ohio in 2002.

The master class, open to elementary through college-age students, will be at 3 p.m. March 6 at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, 215 Richmond Road.

The class is free, but space for students is limited. If interested in participating, contact Elizabeth Caine at elizabeth.caine@wjccschools.org or call Jon Krapfl at 565-0510.

Community members of any age are welcome to watch the class, which is free and open to the public.

Haas will later perform at the Symphonia’s Cabaret and Cocktails Pops Concert, rescheduled from January to March 22 at the Williamsburg Lodge. For more information, visit williamsburgsymphonia.org.
