The Williamsburg Host Lions Club will soon prepare quarts of Brunswick stew in a fund-raising effort for several local charities.
The club’s annual Brunswick stew fundraiser, one of two major efforts during the year, supports several Lions Club projects — Lions Sight and Hearing Van, Lions for Diabetes Awareness, Lions World Service Day and more — as well as donations to other organizations such as FISH, Meals on Wheels and Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg.
The club will prepare the stew on Jan. 27, available for pick-up after 9 a.m. on Jan. 28 in the Dominion Power parking lot at 4059 Ironbound Road.
The stew comes in quart-size containers at $9 each. Contact one of the club members listed below to reserve a quart, or several.
