Symphonia presents Holiday Pops concert Grand Illumination weekend

A guest conductor will take the Kimball Theatre stage alongside the Williamsburg Symphonia during its 2015 Holiday Pops concert next weekend.

The concert, occurring at 1:30 and 3 p.m. daily on Dec. 5 and 6, adds to the festivities of Grand Illumination weekend.

Guest conductor Silas Nathaniel Huff is currently the Commander of the U.S. Army School of Music at Little Creek Expeditionary Base in Virginia Beach. He also co-directs at the International Conducting Institute.

Maestro (Captain) Huff is joined by featured guest soprano Sarah Kate Walston. Walston, a Richmond native, has refined her talent through operatic roles, recitals and concerts across the U.S. and abroad.
