18th Annual 2017 Williamsburg British and European Car Show: Celebrate iconic cars like the featured MGC-GT with a beautiful backdrop. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. Register at wmbgbrit.com for $25. Spectating is free.

Earth Day at the VLM: The Virginia Living Museum celebrates the planet with crafts, eco-friendly giveaways, gifts and treats for the animals, green wares for sale and more. The Peninsula Youth Orchestra performs at noon. Saturday. Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All included with general admission: $20 for adults, $15 for children ages 3-12.

Black Settlement Presentation and Book Signing at Freedom Park: Join Col. Lafayette Jones Jr., a descendant of those that lived on the Free Black Settlement at Freedom Park, for a presentation and book signing. 3 p.m. on Saturday at Freedom Park, 5537 Centerville Road. Free.

A Walk to Remember 5th Annual Hike for Hospice: Walk to celebrate the memory of loved ones, in honor of someone, or just to support Hospice House. Check out music, food, raffles, a silent auction and more. 12:30 p.m., Saturday at Governor’s Land Park East. National Park Week Free Entry Days at Yorktown Battlefield: Discover what it took for the United States to be independent as you explore the site of the last major battle of the Revolutionary War. 9 a.m. to 5 pm. on Saturday and Sunday. Free.

“I Am Not Your Negro” at the Kimball Theatre: Writer James Baldwin tells the story of race in modern America with his unfinished novel, “Remember This House.” Rated PG-13. Plays Friday, Saturday, Sunday and through April 30. Showtimes available on Fandango. Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $7 for seniors and students.

U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Band Concert: Hear the TRADOC Winds performing “Wind Serenade” by Dvorak, “Hommage a l’ami Papageno,” “Mozart, A New Look” by Francaix and several other pieces. 7 p.m. on Friday at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road. Free.

Yankees in the Streets: Williamsburg During the Civil War: Join historian and author Carson Hudson for an illustrated lecture about the Battle of Williamsburg. New Town Chalk and Family Fest: Watch artists or enter as an artist and draw in the streets of New Town for cash. Also enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, chalk drawing, kids games and more. 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at 4301 New Town Avenue.
