GPS Pirates: The park will supply guests with GPS units; then, the hunt begins. Take advantage of geocaching and find caches featuring park information and small gifts. 4-6 p.m. Saturday at York River State Park. Call 566-3036 for reservations. Free.

Irish Dance Showcase: Rose and Sword Academy of Irish Dance performs its annual showcase. Performances begin at noon and 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Williamsburg Regional Library. Tickets available at the door; $12 adults, $10 seniors and students, $8 kids under 12.

Anime Club at WRL: Show off your anime and mange knowledge in a team-based trivia competition. 5-7 p.m. Thursday at James City County Library. Free.

Inside James Fort: The Powhatan Indians: Join Daniel Firehawk Abbott of the Nanticoke people from Maryland’s Eastern Shore to learn about the culture of the Tidewater Algonquians and their interactions with settlers. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at Historic Jamestowne. Included with paid admission to Historic Jamestowne.

Yorktown Music Jamboree: Shanty Grass will open with a bluegrass set, then Tom Lewis will entertain with stories and songs of life on the sea. 6-9 p.m. at the Watermen’s Museum, 309 Water Street, Yorktown. $5 at the gate, children under 14 free.

Glow Run Williamsburg: Dress is anything bright and shiny as you take to New Town’s streets in a one-mile or 5K run. A party follows afterward. 8 p.m. Friday at New Town’s Sullivan Square, 4301 New Town Avenue. Register onsite; $40 for the one-mile fun run, $50 for the 5K Glow Run. Entrants will receive a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt and a glow stick.

Yorktown Sounds of Summer: Yorktown’s summer concert series, formerly called Shagging on the Riverfront, continues with a set by Soul Intent. Bring lawn chairs and blankets. 7-9:30 p.m. on Thursday at Riverwalk Landing. Free.

Escape the King: Locked in a room with other suspected patriots, you must all work together to find clues and solve riddles to escape the King’s wrath. 6:30-8:45 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the Public Gaol Building, 486 E. Nicholson Street. Adults $25, kids 6-12 $20.

Summer Solstice Celebration and Seafood Festival: Come dressed in white and gold cocktail attire and enjoy fresh, local seafood and live music. 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Williamsburg Winery. Tickets are $35 and available at the Winery or online at williamsburgwinery.com. Guests must be 21 or older; IDs will be checked at the door.

New Town Summer Fest: Celebrate summer with 15 breweries offering 30 craft brews to benefit Meals on Wheels. Food will be available from vendors and nearby restaurants. Johnny St. Clair and Julius Pittman and the Revival will perform live. 1:30-5:30 p.m. Saturday at New Town’s Sullivan Square, 4301 New Town Avenue.
