Rhythms on the Riverwalk — The 10th annual outdoor concert series kicks off with a performance from Williamsburg Classic Swing Orchestra. 6:30-9:30 p.m., Friday. Riverwalk Landing, 330 Water St., Yorktown. Free.

Bier Fest at Busch Gardens — More than 200 years of Oktoberfest traditions come to life at this all-new event. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. 1 Busch Gardens Blvd. Included in park admission.

Williamsburg Kiwanis Club Shrimp Feast — The 37th annual Shrimp Feast features all-you-can-eat shrimp, hot dogs, hush puppies, baked beans and coleslaw, as well as beverages and beer. 4-7 p.m., Saturday. Jamestown 4-H Center, 3751 4-H Club Road. $35 at the door.

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony — Join Cub Scout Pack 414 in remembering and honoring the lives lost and affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2001. 7 p.m., Sunday. James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Department, 3135 Forge Road, Toano.
