Grammy-winning musician Lyle Lovett will perform Wednesday Aug. 10 at Lake Matoaka Amphitheater.

Lovett will perform with his ‘Large Band’ in a nearly two-hour set Wednesday evening.

With nearly 15 albums to date, Lovett is no stranger to the music world, having remained active since his debut album in 1986.

Some might call him a country musician, but the singer-songwriter folds several genres into his music, including country, swing, pop, jazz and more.

Lovett’s four Grammy awards include Best Country Album in 1996 and Best Country Male Vocal in 1989.

Lovett’s career also includes time spent acting, in feature films and on television.
