Pairing live music with the York River’s natural ambience, the 12th annual Rhythms on the Riverwalk returns this fall.
York County’s five-week outdoor concert series, featuring everything from jazz to country, occurs 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Fridays from Sept. 9 through Oct. 7 at Riverwalk Landing’s performance stage.
Free and open to the public, audiences are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the following performances:
*Sept. 9: Williamsburg Classic Swing Orchestra
*Sept. 16: Super Jazz Band, featuring Conni Ironmonger
*Sept. 23: Glen Boswick and the Sound of Swing Orchestra
*Sept. 30: Dave Cynar Band
*Oct. 7: Doug Dunn and the Steel River Band
