Though “The Big Bluesy” is still two months away, tickets to the weekend blues music festival are now on sale.
CultureFix, a local cultural nonprofit, announced in June the inaugural blues fest, taking place at Jamestown Beach Event Park from Sept. 17 to 18.
Bands from Virginia Beach to Richmond, and everywhere in between, pack the festival’s lineup. The 16 bands include Anthony Rosano and The Conqueroos, Slam Allen, Billy Joe Trio, In Layman Terms, Roosterfoot and the Bobby BlackHat Band, whose frontman Bobby “BlackHat” Walters will host the festival.

General Admission Weekend Pass: $45
General Admission Saturday: $30
General Admission Sunday: $25
Weekend Parking Pass: $5
VIP Weekend Pass: $90
Ticket prices will increase Aug. 15 and Sept. 15, according to the CultureFix website.
