4th Annual Catch a Dream Horse Show a Success for Dream Catchers

WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia - BedCrafters by Michelle helped make dreams come true as the $2,000 Title Sponsor for the 2016 Catch a Dream Campaign & Horse Show benefitting Dream Catchers at the Cori Sikich Therapeutic Riding Center. Held on Sunday, March 6, the Catch a Dream Campaign & Horse Show raised more than $19,000 through the hard work of 50 dedicated teams of students, volunteers and staff.

Students, volunteers and staff recruited teams to generate donations during the campaign. The winning student team was "Team Robot" led by the Hostetter Family and the winning staff/volunteer team, led by advanced instructor Sally Derrig was named "Team Blackie's Babes," after Sally's 32-year-old Quarter Horse, which has been a therapy horse for 20 years.

Profits from the event help Dream Catchers offer its programs of therapeutic horsemanship to individuals with special needs for the lowest possible lesson fees. In addition to the title sponsor, Innovation Homes of Virginia sponsored the photo booth, and Pierce's PITT Bar-B-Que sponsored the buffet lunch and a scholarship giving one lucky student a free 10-week session.
