On Saturday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m., children of all ages are invited to come and explore the world of worms. If you like to wiggle, this workshop is just right for you. Investigate a real worm farm and learn what worms eat, how they breathe, and how they help your garden. Select a few friends to observe, measure, and add to your own mini worm farm which you will make to take home. Don't miss the fascinating world of worms, presented by instructor Vanessa DiLeo, a worm lover as well as a child development specialist. This presentation, geared to children but fascinating to folks of all ages, is being held behind the Freedom Park Interpretive Center (inside if it's raining) at Freedom Park. Registration is required. This program is free; however, a donation of $5 to support the Williamsburg Botanical Garden at Freedom Park would be appreciated. This event is part of the Williamsburg Botanical Gardens Children's Programs 2015. For further information about this program or to register for it, please contact Sherry Patterson at firstname.lastname@example.org . Please join us-you don't want to miss this fascinating look into our underground world.
