In strong winds, and a little snow, Williamsburg's Boy Scout Troop 103 successfully accomplished all tasks planned for the 13th Andy's Earth Day, held this year on April 9, at c.1750 Church on the Main archaeological park, in James City County. The event takes place annually in memory of Andrew Bridger Outlaw, Eagle Scout. Twenty five merit badges in the themes of nature and history were earned by new scouts and over 365 service hours were logged by 41 boys, assisted by 20 adult leaders. Every year, members of Troop 103 maintain and enhance the church site and remove trash from the adjoining trails that they helped build.
