A planning meeting of
The Appalachian Cherokee Nation Tribe will be held at James City County Library, on May 30, 2015, from 1 pm to 4 pm. The building in Montross, Va., in which The Appalachian Cherokee Nation Tribe had it's Office and Cultural Center has been sold. The Tribe is currently without a home, but is continuing all business of the Tribe as best it can under the circumstances. Principal Chief Marshal Lone Wolfl Couch
and the Tribe will be happy to assist the community of Williamsburg, Va., especially the James City County Library, and the Williamsburg Regional Library in any way possible for their kind hospitality.
The Tribe selected Williamsburg, Va. as their interim meeting place, due to the historic aspects of the city and the Tribe's continuing research into its own history.
Thank you so much for whatever attention this information will receive.
