Arbor Day Award Winners Recognized

Williamsburg Area Council of Garden Clubs and the City of Williamsburg celebrated Arbor Day on March 10 at the Williamsburg Community Building. The Council honors individuals, organizations, businesses and institutions that have made a positive contribution by improving the quality of our environment in the areas of beautification, conservation and service. 2017 Arbor Day awards go to Glenda Knowles-Berkeley and Colonial Heritage Garden Club; Will Fidler-Landscape Superintendent City of Williamsburg; Blooms That Brighten; Capital Pancake House; City of Williamsburg-College Delly Corner; College of William and Mary-College Corner, Sundial Garden, President's Garden; Colonial Heritage; Colonial Williamsburg Foundation-Shields Tavern Garden, Visitor's Center; Figaro Hair Salon; Founders Village; Historic Powhatan Resort; Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg; Norge Dental Center; Patriot's Colony; Second Street Bistro; Thomas Nelson Community College-Historic Triangle Campus; Walnut Hills Baptist Church-Memorial Garden; Williamsburg Botanical Garden; and WindsorMeade.
