Avalon Center's Director of Development visits Kiwanis Club

Priscilla Caldwell, director of development and communications for Avalon Center, spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg about their organization. Founded in 1978, Avalon works to end domestic and sexual violence by breaking the cycle of abuse through prevention, education, shelter and support services in the Williamsburg area. The Center envisions an aware community that works together to promote healthy relationships and to end domestic and sexual violence. Ms. Caldwell is a Accredited Public Relations practitioner (APR) with more than 25 years of progressive responsibility, leadership, strategic PR, marketing and communications experience for non-profits, government, technology, tourism and education. She has led communications for advocacy organizations, a chamber of commerce, visitors bureau, a NASA affiliate and educational institutions.
