Baptist Collegiate Ministry Students Volunteer with Hurricane Harvey Clean-up

Students from the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) at William and Mary, under the direction of Rev. Jeffrey Buffkin, campus minister, recently volunteered with Hurricane Harvey clean- up in the Houston area. Students are shown ready to rebuild a green house, the only source of income for a Cambodian family. The team also removed abandoned items and cleaned 12 apartments so elderly residents could re-occupy a senior living center in the Fifth Ward, packed donated school supplies for a school that had been flooded and fed and prayed for homeless residents within a two block radius of South Main Baptist Church where they stayed. Walnut Hills Baptist volunteers, Ken Sharp and Susan and Dan Gaske , were a part of the team. For more information, check the website: bcm.wm.edu or Facebook page: BCM@WM.
