Barbara McLennan donates to Local Authors Project at Williamsburg Regional Library

Local author Barbara McLennan donates copies of her latest novel "Blackbeard's Legacy" to the Williamsburg Regional Library. Accepting the donation is adult services librarian Neil Hollands. In this historical novel, Andrew Morgan and Benjamin Harrison are two men sailing under the infamous, pirate Blackbeard. Their adventures on the high seas and on land bring them face to face with danger, death, intrigued, and love. Dr. McLennan's professional career included being a university professor and a high level official in the United States Departments of Commerce and Treasury. She holds both a Ph.D. in Political Science and a JD. Dr. McLenna has published numerous books and articles. Currently she is a docent at Jamestown Settlement.
