Over 75 children and families came to the Williamsburg Botanical Garden on Saturday, August 8th, to learn about the beautiful and important honeybee. It was a fantastic program presented by Pam Burton, Charlie Swain, and Joe Beene from the Colonial Beekeepers Association. Sponsored by the Williamsburg Botanical Gardens, this program taught how participants how bees gather food, pollinate, raise their babies, and survive winters. The next children's program at the Williamsburg Botanical Gardens is the very popular World of Worms on Sept. 12th from 10:00-11:30 am.
