Ben Bridgford Earns Eagle Scout

Ben Bridgford, son of Robert and Shirley Bridgford, was awarded his Eagle Scout Rank at a Court of Honor ceremony last month at King of Glory Lutheran Church. Ben's project was refurbishing and painting several buildings at the Waterman's Museum in Yorktown. Ben led 14 other Scouts and adults working 160 service hours over numerous weekends last fall to complete this project. Prior to his arrival in Troop 300 two years ago, Ben had been a member in three separate Cub Scout Packs and one other Boy Scout Troop as a military family member living in Hawaii, Oklahoma and Texas. Ben is a currently a sophomore attending Jamestown High School. King of Glory proudly sponsors Troop 300.
