B.U.G Ceremony held at D.J. Montague Elementary School

The first quarter of the fall semester 2015 (BUG) Bring Up Grades Honor Roll ceremony was held at D.J. Montague Elementary School on November 6, 2015. During the past grading period, students in kindergarten through second grade set a goal of at least improving one grade in one subject while maintaining their other grades. The Bug Honor Roll rewards the students who achieve their goals.
We are pleased to announce that we recognized 86.66% of the Kindergarten students , 96.66% of the First grade students, and 94.28% of the Second grade students in the following subjects: kindergarten - lowercase letter recognition, first grade - writing numbers 1-100 and second grade - fact families.
All BUG recipients were placed on the BUG Honor Roll and we held a special BUG Honor Roll Ceremony and recognized the achievers in front of their peers, teachers and family members. A bulletin board at the school, displaying all the BUG recipients proudly brags about all the students who work to BUG!
The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg is a proud sponsor of the program, and each student is presented with a BUG certificate, and a coupon courtesy of Chick-fil-A at Monticello Marketplace, the- third- year running BUG business sponsor.
