The Woman's Club of Williamsburg - GFWC is holding an informal new-member information social at the Port Anne Club House, April 15, 1:30-3:30 p.m. If you are interested in community service, this is your opportunity! The nonprofit Woman's Club of Williamsburg - GFWC is a group of women united through voluntary service for the promotion of their common interest in community welfare and philanthropic projects. The Club is affiliated with the General Federation of Women's Clubs and was founded in 1948. The Club awards a $2,000 scholarship annually to one high school senior from each local high school and hosts fund-raising events to fund these scholarships and in support of community organizations such as FISH, Avalon, Heritage Humane Society and many more.
