Carrabbas and Trader Joes Partner with Respite

Over $4000 was raised to support Respite Care of Williamsburg United Methodist Church at the Annual Benefit Luncheon, thanks to John Adams and his team at Carrabbas Italian Grill. Every year, Carrabbas prepares and serves chicken marsala to a sell out crowd of 230 guests at no cost, allowing 100% of the ticket price to support Respite! Trader Joes joins in the fun, donating 30 pumpkins for decorations and door prizes.

Respite engages Williamsburg seniors in a stimulating, safe, social afternoon program with music, art, exercise, education, and conversation, while their caregivers can take some time to recharge.
