Respite of Williamsburg United Methodist Church hosted a luncheon fundraiser for 230 guests, to expand music and art opportunities and provide scholarships for their engaging afternoon social program for seniors. Guests from throughout the community came together in support of Respite, which has served Williamsburg family care partners and their loved ones since 2001.
Carrabba's freshly grilled Chicken Marsala was served to guests by Respite board members, at absolutely no cost to Respite! Carrabba's generosity in championing our event since 2010 is a testament to their focus on our local community. Proceeds from the event are expected to exceed $4000.
Pumpkins, donated by Trader Joe's, decorated the festive fundraiser and became door prizes for 30 lucky guests.
