Hampton/Williamsburg, September 8, 2016: The Center for Child & Family Services is exited to welcome three newly elected board members to the agency's volunteer Board of Directors.
The Center for Child & Family Services (the Center), a non-profit family service organization, that provides counseling and support services to children, adults and families that empower people who are struggling with life's challenges. A sample of these programs include: mental health and trauma focus therapy, domestic violence intervention counseling, youth and adult anger management, youth and adult job readiness for those with barriers to employment, credit, debt and financial education and counseling, representative payee services and child care provider training and consultations. The Center has been serving the community since 1943 and provides services to thousands of clients each year with offices in Hampton and Williamsburg. The new board members include:
Tanisha Baines, Budget Analyst with NASA Langley Research Center, M.B.A from the College of William and Mary and B.S. from Christopher Newport University
Dustin Stokes, Chief Technology Officer with Atlas Systems, Inc., M.S. and B.A. from Christopher Newport University
Todd Halacy, Assistant Division Administrator with the Virginia Department of Transportation, M.B.A. from the College of William & Mary and a B.S. from Old Dominion University
The Board of Directors of the Center for Child & Family Services is comprised of 16 diverse community volunteer members of the board of directors who have a vast array of experiences from legal, accounting, finance and banking, small business, government, counseling and marketing.
