Childcare Network Celebrates Friendship Day with Local Police Department

Williamsburg, VA- "Men in blue are a friend to you" is a phrase that encompasses the valuable relationship between citizens and police officers. To show appreciation for all that they do, Childcare Network is celebrating National Friendship Day with the local police department!
This month the children are focusing on building a caring community through acts of kindness. One of these kindness projects includes making thank you cards for police officers. Rather than sending these cards to the station, they have decided to invite local officers to the center.
Police officers of the Williamsburg-James City County Police Department are invited to the Childcare Network center located at 159 Kristiansand Drive Williamsburg, VA 23185 on August 1, 2016 at 10 a.m. They will receive thank you cards from students and enjoy refreshments.
Childcare Network was founded in 1988 in Columbus, GA with the initial acquisition of two schools. Since that time, the company has continued to expand through its consistent and disciplined acquisition program. Today, Childcare Network is the fourth largest private child care provider in the US consisting of over 200 schools in ten states with an enrollment of over 24,000 children.
