Over 250 children and their caregivers attended the Snakes Alive program at the Tabb and Yorktown Libraries on Tuesday, July 14.
The audience's eyes grew wide as Ron Cromer, owner of Snakes Alive, brought out each snake and lizard. The children learned about the lives, habitats and characteristics of snakes and lizards as Cromer displayed each reptile. At the end of the program the children and adults were allowed to touch the snakes to see how their skin felt.
