Classic Cruisers Car Club kicks off 2016 cruise-in season

Sheila Noll, (District 2) Vice Chairman, York County Board of Supervisors visited the first weekly Classic Cruisers Car Club Weekly Cruise-in of 2016 at the Coastal Community Church parking lot on April 9 to kick start the 2016 season.

The Cruise-ins are held 5-9 p.m. every Saturday, weather permitting, through Oct. 15 and provide the automotive enthusiast community to display and share their classic, show, street/hot rod, novelty vehicles and sports cars with each other , local residents and visitors. All makes, models and years are welcome. Each month, a different charity (April-Relay for Life) benefits from donations collected at the event. Last year the club raised over $20,000 for local charities through the cruise-ins and car shows.

On Saturday night, 45 vehicles were on display and dozens of spectators enjoyed the vehicles and talked to the owners and shared stories with each other about their favorite car.
