Classic Rounds Bring Victory to Stonehouse Riders

Stonehouse Stables riders competed in the Annual Capital Horse Show Association Classic competitions while showing at the Deep Run Hunt Grounds on September 10th and 11th. Winning the Children's/Adult Classic, pictured here with trainer Tara Mathews Best, was Allie Marcotte and her horse The Happy Camper. In other results Ashley Roberson was 6th in the same Classic on her horse Home Again, Abigail Best was 6th in the Horse Classic on her mount Out of the Box, and Olivia Batten, riding Abigail Best's In My Pocket, was 3rd in the Pony Classic. Classic competitors are scored on two Hunter Jump rounds over an extended course of jumps. The average of the two scores determines the result, with the top six places (out of 16-23 riders in this years competitions) leading a Victory Gallop for each Classic.
