College Corner blooms thanks to Green Spring Garden Club

The beautiful seasonal display at the intersection of Jamestown Road and Boundary Street, known as College Corner, was made possible again this year through the philanthropic contribution of Green Spring Garden Club. Funds raised during the annual Christmas Homes Tour were used to support this beautification project, Colonial Williamsburg gardens, Respite Care Center's outdoor space, Norge Elementary School's garden, Williamsburg's Arbor Day Tree, and the Botanical Garden's Butterfly Festival. Funds also support scholarships at William and Mary, CNU and Nature Camp. Pictured from left are John McFarlane, associate director of landscape, GSGC members Betsy Anderson, Pres. Rita Grove, Jane Filz, and Ben Owen, landscape supervisor.
