Colonial Capital Kiwanis distributes Christmas gifts to needy children

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital recently distributed Christmas gifts to children of needy families in the community. This is an annual event for the club and this year the club assisted 131 families with a total of 314 children. The families were invited to Wal-Mart and were given vouchers of $50 per child to select toys or clothing. Pictured above are Kiwanis members at the reception table prepared to welcome the families as they arrived. Left to right are Jim Simpson, Barbara McNamee, Mary Lehman and Ron Goldstein.
