Colonial Capital Kiwanis donates grants to local Charities

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital recently donated grants to several community service organizations who have helped the lives of children in the Greater Williamsburg community. This is a continuation of the Club's practice for many years. Pictured above from left are Pam Rambo, chair of the Community Services Committee, Jim Waddington, a committee member, Julie Dudley of Big Brothers and Big Sisters ($6,000); Kim Dellinger of Bacon Street ($5,000); Pat McCormick of Grove Christian Outreach Center ($7,000); and Charlotte Klamer of Colonial CASA ($5,000) and Club President Larry Shoberg. Not pictured but also receiving a grant was Avalon Center who was awarded $5,000 bringing the total grants for the year to $28,000.
