Colonial Capital Kiwanis hears from the League of Women Voters

To the Gazette - This is a corrected version of my submission on Wednesday May 25. Please use this one in the publication. Thanks from Art Kohler

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital recently heard a program about the League of Women Voters from Linda Rice, who is the President of the League of Women Voters - Williamsburg Area and a former second VP of the State League. Ms. Rice traced the history of the League since its inception in the 1920's and discussed the many events sponsored by the league to help voters learn about the candidates for office in elections and to also learn about the issues involved. Pictured above are Club member Jim Simpson, Ms. Rice and Club President Pete Webster.
